Ron Bevilacqua has been creating sculptures for over 35 years. Living amidst tall trees and granite glacier boulders has inspired him to work with what nature supplies. Much of the material he works with comes from the shores of Adirondack mountain lakes and local wooded areas in Bucks County. Ron’s studio is available for instruction to aspiring artists and to those who just need a place to work in a creative atmosphere.
The sculptures he creates represent an intense relationship between himself and the material with which he works. His art, which symbolizes life, comes from within the material. He first look for a suggested image in wood or stone that can be enhanced to represent a human or animal form, be it realistic, representational or abstract. The finished sculptures can be meaningful, thought provoking or whimsical. Ron’s sculptures are part of private collections and can also be see in most regional exhibitions.
ronbevil@yahoo.comBucks County woodturner Jill Biros creates one-of-a-kind bowls that are both decorative and functional. From rough log to finished bowl is a year-long journey. Crafted on a lathe from solid pieces of recovered hardwood, each unique bowl is signed and identified. Using graceful curves and careful finishing techniques, Jill enjoys letting the wood guide her artistic expression. She approaches her work with this heartfelt wish: “Let me honor this tree by revealing its intrinsic beauty”. Jill’s work has been written about in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Magazine and was featured in Martha Stewart Living magazine.

Visual patterns have been part of my creative process since early childhood when I struggled as a lefty kid to learn the Palmer method of handwriting. As an adult, I have relied on patterns to bring balance and meaning to my often-hectic life, and tried to learn from those that occur in my habits and relationships.
Much of my artwork is based on the meaningful patterns that emerge from ancient and universal systems of divination such as the I Ching, Runes and astrological charts. Like every other system in the universe, underlying the apparently random, chaotic events of life, are order, structure and meaning. One “casts” an I Ching “hexagram” or reads a Rune just as one throws the dice. But while the symbol on the dice tells us whether we have “won,” or “lost,” the symbols found in these ancient yet universal constructs tell us “why”. Mandalas and astrological charts provide a road map or snapshot of the universe so that one can navigate the sometimes treacherous waters of the unconscious

email: kyle@kozahamilton.comGlenn Harren often quotes history’s great artists. Quite unprovoked, he will share an appropriate quip from John Singer Sargent or recount a story once told by Edward Hopper. While Harren’s unique ability to immediately recall art’s famous quotes can humble even the most committed art historian, they are a subtle expression of his love for fine art and for it’s rich history.

In June, 2004, mother and daughter co-directors, Nancy and Gabrielle Kanter opened the doors to The Arts offering year round art classes, summer camps and workshops to youth (ages 4-12), teens and adults. The art center evolved out of their belief that everyone is creative and everyone wishes for the opportunity to develop and express his or her creativity. Providing a pleasant and fun environment where freedom of expression can flourish is at the core of the program and remains the goal whether youth are making puppets, teens are working on college portfolio preparation or adults are enjoying an abstract painting class. Instructors are accomplished artists experienced in teaching and assisting students in finding their own path.
The Arts is located at 21 Risler Street in Stockton, NJ.

Included here are some pictures of my artwork and inspirational healing
stories. Included also are updates on where to see my work.
My work is about responding to a singular universal moment that expresses the bonds we share with each other and with our surroundings. I have always been a visual learner. Intrigued by designs, textures, colors, the way things work, move, & come together in any given visual plane, natural or man-made. To create has always been my desire. Be it textiles, photography, cards, woodworking, home interiors, and most recently, painting.
A natural evolution in my work brought me to painting in oils. And it now both nourishes & consumes me. Much of my work is influenced by the pastoral surroundings of my childhood in Hopewell, NJ, and the Delaware River region, as well as by the many talented Bucks County artists that reside in this area.
