Winners of Prallsville Mills Show

This year’s jurors of Artsbridge at Prallsville Mills, Ann Tsubota and Sid Sachs, looked at 547 pieces of art and chose 95 of them for the show, including 20 sculptures. In addition, they selected 14 artworks for prizes. James Freeman of Lambertville won 1st Prize, Marion Robertson Frey of Pipersville won 2nd Prize, and 3rd Prize went to Daniel Armstrong of Allentown.

All entries were anonymous. By chance, however, Tsubota and Sachs awarded the prizes overwhelmingly to local artists. This is especially noteworthy since quite a few of last year’s prizes traveled far across the nation, and this year’s entries from distant states were just as numerous.

Artsbridge members are also well represented in this year’s show. Of the 75 artists exhibiting, 48 are Artsbridge members, and of the 14 awards, 9 were awarded to our members.

The show is open from April 7 through 26. Hours are daily from 11 am - 5 pm. The opening reception is Friday,April 6, 6-9 pm (see next page for more information).
